North OC Playgrounds and Parks
North OC parks and playgrounds aren't featured as heavily on the blog, because I haven't had many recommendations.
If you live in north Orange County, please recommend your favorite parks so I can build on your insider information!
North Orange County has a good mix of outdoor parks linked up with wilder nature trails in areas like Brea, Anaheim Hills, and Yorba Linda.
Stanton has some great supervised parks.
One of my favorite regional parks is in north county at Clark Regional Park. Super fun little trail around the park and also an interpretive center.
I've also provided links to OCParks.com regional parks in North OC and city park pages.
North OC Cities
And these are cities where I need your local expertise:
- Lexington Park in Cypress
- Brio Park and Splash Pad in La Habra
- La Palma - in the city list, but would love your recommendations.
- Westminster - tell me the parks you love here!
- Cerritos & Bellflower (LA)
OCParks.com Regional Parks
Our regional parks require a $3-$5 entrance fee - but they are worth every penny!
Buy your annual pass online. I recommend the $55 County Regional and Wilderness Parks Parking Pass unless you are a regular at the Salt Creek Beach Park in Dana Point. In my humble opinion, that would be the only reason to spring for the $80 All County Parks and Beaches Parking Pass.
Carbon Canyon Regional Park (Brea)
Ralph C. Clark Regional Park (Buena Park)
Ted Craig Regional Park (Fullerton)
Featherly Regional Park (Anaheim)
Santiago Oaks Regional Park (Anaheim)
Tri-City Park (Placentia)
Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park (Foothill Ranch/Trabuco Cyn)
Yorba Regional Park (Anaheim)
