Valley Oak Park in Irvine one of my favorite parks for family picnics, birthday parties, and easy for watching multiple kids.

Stonegate Park in Irvine has swings, slides, climbers, spinners, and diggers. Also: basketball, volleyball, tennis, and a ball field.

Rimgate Park in Lake Forest has a basketball court and tennis court, as well as grassy areas for play with one shaded playground.

Ronald Reagan Park in Anaheim Hills (formerly known as Toyon Park). Kids will love the zip track, swings, climbing and spinning opportunities.

Little Cottonwood Park in Los Alamitos is popular for birthday parties and family events. I call it the busiest little playground around.

Steve Ambriz Memorial Park in the City of Orange is sand-free and has a little something for everyone with lots of swings and slides.
