Planning to play outdoors for Father’s Day?
This personal blog covers all Orange County parks without regard to who maintains the park (state, county, city, neighborhood, etc.). The mission of Fun Orange County Parks is to promote play by providing in-depth information on all local outdoor play places. If you’re looking for some especially beautiful picnic spots, I recommend all the parks with ocean views.
Keep your eyes on OCParks.com (the OFFICIAL website for Orange County Regional Parks, Wilderness Parks, Historic Parks, and Beaches). They are planning a big re-design in the coming months which guarantees to be an improvement. I, for one, can’t wait to see it.
These are the regional parks covered on my site:
- Riley Wilderness Park in Coto de Caza
- Carbon Canyon Regional Park in Brea
- Hidden Playground and Nature Hike at Laguna Niguel Regional Park
- Laguna Niguel Regional Park
- O’Neill Regional Park in Trabuco Canyon
- William R. Mason Regional Park in Irvine
- Aliso Beach Park in Laguna Beach
- Irvine Regional Park in Orange
- Mile Square Regional Park (coming soon)
- Capistrano Beach in Dana Point/Capo Beach
