Remember when volunteer North County Parks Reporter, Lisa, took a spin on a Wheel Fun Rentals® surrey bike at Irvine Regional Park?

Wheel Fun Rentals® at Irvine Regional Park offers bike and paddle boat rentals. Their fleet of bikes include:

  • the surrey and the double surrey (includes a self-guided tour that guides riders around Irvine Regional Park and points of interest in the park including the Nature Center, the Santiago Creek, statue of James Irvine II, the Orange County Zoo, Civil War Cannon, Irvine Park Lake, Centennial Arch and more),
  • deuce coupe,
  • quad sport,
  • chopper,
  • tandem bikes,
  • cruiser bikes,
  • and kids bikes.

Paddle boats (aqua cycles) that can be safely enjoyed by 2 to 3 riders. The paddle boats are ideal for sightseeing, people watching, exercising or simply enjoying the lake inside of Irvine Regional Park.

Bike Safety: Children 18 years of age and younger are required to wear a helmet when riding a bike. Helmets are provided at no additional cost and are also available to all riders upon request.

Water Safety: Children under the age of 13 are required to wear a life jacket when riding a paddle boat. Life jackets are provided at no additional cost and are also available to all riders upon request.

Other Attractions Inside the Park include: the Irvine Park Railroad train, pony rides and the Orange County Zoo.

Hours: Open daily at 10:00 am through October 31st. Winter hours are weekends and holidays only.
