Columbus Tustin Park in Tustin

Columbus Tustin Park in Tustin has a fun boat-themed play structure with wide, accessible ramps that make it easy for everyone to explore and enjoy some nautical fun.

Directions to Columbus Tustin Park: Located at 14712 Prospect Avenue, at the northeast corner of Prospect Avenue and Irvine Boulevard in Tustin. Easily accessible from the 55 freeway by exiting at Fourth Street towards Irvine Boulevard (4th Street becomes Irvine at the freeway) and heading east (towards the hills). Make a left onto Prospect Avenue and the parking lot will immediately come up on your right. MAP TO COLUMBUS TUSTIN PARK IN TUSTIN

Highlights:

  • Accessible boat structure complete with helms and cannons for exciting pirate adventure play
  • Variety of fun slides to go down and climbers to get back up
  • This playground happens to be right beneath the flight path many airplanes take when landing at John Wayne Airport - fun for kids that love spotting airplanes a little lower to the ground than normal
  • A good amount of benches and picnic benches around the playground for snacking or just resting and watching the kids play
  • One bench swing and one accessible swing

Be Aware:

  • Close proximity to a school, community center and many sports fields can bring a lot of foot traffic to this playground

Checklist:

  • Dedicated parking lot
  • Recycled rubber and wood chip surface combo
  • Restrooms a short walk from the playground, just past the tennis courts
  • Drinking fountain at restrooms
  • Picnic and regular benches
  • Four lighted softball diamonds and four lighted tennis courts (signs at tennis courts state that the courts are not available to the public during school hours)
