Remember, my definition of play extends to kids in the kitchen!!
Things are getting pretty simple in our house these days. Tuesday is bread baking day. The kids play in the kitchen and the whole house fills with the aroma of fresh-baked bread! This is the new recipe we tried this week. There are only 3 ingredients and it takes little effort to make. Just make sure you have a 6-8 quart Dutch oven to cook it in!

Thursday is soup making day. This is our (mostly) kid-prepared feast for tonight: Baked Potato Soup (Cooking Light)
Bon Appetit!

Maybe we'll have to try that bread. I cook with my kids a lot, but sometimes secretly wish I could do it alone (and faster, less messy etc.). It's good practice for them, though.
