I get the travel bug awful bad in January. The possibilities stretch out ahead with budget being the only thing holding us back. Fingers-crossed for a nice tax return! I pull out the good ‘ole road atlas and let my imagination wander until then.
But I also look back and pinch myself about the places we’ve been with the kids and how traveling with them is giving them an education they couldn’t get ANYwhere else!
1. We See Out Windows with a Different View
2. We Experience Natural Wonders Before They Disappear
3. We Feel Excitement from Being on the Edge
4. We Learn That The Bigger Our World Gets, The Smaller “Stuff” Matters
5. We Feel the Joy of Wonder
6. Once We’ve Experienced Them, We Understand and Forever Remember Those Things We’ve Only Read about in Books or Seen on a Map
7. Sometimes We Just See Where the Road Leads
8. We Benefit From — and Enjoy — Our National Treasures
9. We Get Our Feet Wet
10. And We Get to Share Special Moments with Our Family. Memorable Moments in Places Far Away.
Where are you dreaming about for summer vacation?
