Keep Our Parks Buzzing (Guest Post by The Little Humbugs)

Keep Our Parks Buzzing (Guest Post by The Little Humbugs)

Play parks full of beautiful flowers and plants attract certain insects and birds. Bees, butterflies and other insects fly through leaves and petals taking pollen from one plant to the next, and pollinating the plants throughout the park.

Just like human children, the Little Humbugs love to visit parks, play on the swings, smell the flowers and climb the trees. They also know that a world without bees and butterflies would be unrecognizable since they also pollinate many of the plants and trees in our parks, gardens, forests and meadows.

Bees are responsible for one of every three bites we eat!

The stresses bees face today are numerous – from the use of chemical pesticides, to viruses, to the loss of natural bee habitats.

We need GREEN SPACES for our children to play. The pollinators need green spaces to live. What a perfect combination. Help Save our Pollinators by visiting our parks, they are an oasis for all kinds of visitors…not just HUMAN!

For Earth Day, Babybee-the smallest member of the Little Humbugs is raising awareness for Our Pollinators.
