Tucker Playground in Two Harbors, Catalina Island. Avalon is the tourism center of Catalina Island, but ferries take passengers from the mainland to Two Harbors as well. It's a cozy, more laid-back atmosphere at the "Isthmus." If you are at Two Harbors with children - you are probably there for water activities or to visit a friend or relative on their boat. But if you want to head ashore and let the kids get their wiggles out, Cliff and Maybelle Tucker donated a very nice playground to the local children.
