Monkey Bars for Grown-Ups?

Monkey Bars for Grown-Ups?

I get the best questions!  Here’s the latest: “Do you know of any parks in the OC that have monkey bars tall enough for adults to use?”

Now, Orange County is a big place and there are almost 900 parks here.  At the time of writing, I’ve covered 240 on this website.  So I’ll see if I can narrow it down a bit — by looking through all my photos to refresh my memory.  Of course, playgrounds are only rated for 2-5 year olds and 5-12 year olds — so take that into account.

NOTE: Most of these parks are in South OC — if you know of any in your neighborhood, please add to the comments.  Also, I can’t vouch for how tall these are, I just know they aren’t on the 2-5 year old playsets. I have been to all the playgrounds, it’s just been a while for some of them.

What park is the one with the yellow monkey bars that go around in a circle? I live in San Clemente and have not seen that one. Looks like fun!

That's such a funny question. We are pretty keen on finding pull up bars high enough off the ground for an adult to use that also aren't a huge wide grip width too

I LOVE knowing that we are ALL still kids at heart who just want to PLAY! PLAY! PLAY!

William R. Mason Regional Park has a fitness course for grownups (spread in 3 sections along the trail), which has monkey bars specifically for adults.
