Planning Update (with 15 days left)
From the first day of planning, I hoped every neighbor would be invested in this Play Day. My amazing neighbors do not disappoint.

I met Jenny when we first moved in. Our boys shared a love for Thomas the train. It was only after I started planning the Play Day that I met Jenny at a local blogger event. Turns out she is also an accomplished photographer. She didn’t hesitate when I asked if she’d be the “official” photographer for our Play Day (although she’s required to put the camera down and play, too).
Jenner Rose Photography oozes with playfulness. Her mission statement says she, “…appreciates and capitalizes on the unpredicatable nature of children.” In describing her sessions photographing children she explains, “I will also play with them in a tear-free and laid-back environment, as that is usually when the unexpected begins.”

Planning Update
I presented to our HOA Board at the end of August. They were enthusiastic for a fun community event. One of our board members even chimed in with a game idea for the adults. Love it! I’ve officially reserved the park space. The invitations are out, just waiting for the RSVP’s to come rolling in.
According to MJ at KaBOOM! — our Play Day kit is on its way. MJ also sent this reminder: “Don’t forget to bring a camera to your Play Day. We want all hosts to take tons of fun pictures. The more pictures the better; they could even be featured on our website! And by uploading lots of photos you could win up to $10,000 from NFL PLAY 60.”
