Secret Life of Animals
What helps our native Orange County animals survive? Some disappear at night, where do they go? As we explore the different habitats of Shipley Nature Center, Summer Campers will learn some of the secrets that make Mammals, Reptiles, Amphibians and Arthropods so unique and amazing! Animal crafts, songs and games will keep everyone in that animal state of mind.
Through games, songs, crafts, experiments and adventures, Summer Campers will learn what it takes to help save our Earth!
How does pollution affect our oceans? Why are the 5 R’s (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Repurpose, Rot) important for our animal friends? These are some of the questions our Earth Savers will be able to answer after attending this Earth saving week.
Welcome to the world of weird science! Weird Science will tap into your camper’s natural curiosity and lead them to observe, compare, contrast, and describe different phenomena.
Summer Campers will learn about the oddities of science by doing unusual and fun experiments each day as well as sing songs, make crafts and play games!
