5 Memorable Outdoor Places to Satisfy California Curiosity

5 Memorable Outdoor Places to Satisfy California Curiosity

When friends and family come to visit from far-off places, I’m always looking for memorable places to show off our beautiful Orange County and really feel like California.

A Robber Cave

Also known as Dripping Cave. Hike here to see where thieves may have hide out after robbing stages! Read more about Robber’s Cave.

Our Only Mission

Mission San Juan Capistrano’s is the only mission in Orange County. The new entrance welcomes visitors to the manicured grounds and interesting history. Afterwards, stroll downtown San Juan Capistrano and play at Los Rios Playground.

Fewest Steps to Sunset

Heisler Park in Laguna Beach is especially nice because even families members who can’t walk far or well — or who need wheelchair assistance can enjoy the view.

Charming Orange Grove and Oaks

Santiago Oaks Regional Park has so much California history and it sits in a neighborhood of old ranch land.

Canyon Wildlife

Canyons are such a part of Southern California life and there’s no better place to see it than Modjeska Canyon and the Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary.

Where do you bring your out-of-town guests?

Seeing you know about Modjeska Canyon and Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary, you may also be aware of Madame Modjeska's home is open for touring. Amazing how many local people aren't even aware of the canyon or TWS. Great job, enjoy your trek information.
